VINELAND, NJ (Sep 20, 2010)— The doctors of Regional Diagnostic Imaging (RDI) announced the donation of $100,000 to the Frank and Edith Scarpa Regional Cancer Pavilion on September 19th. The presentation was made to Chet Kaletkowski, President and CEO of South Jersey Healthcare (SJH), by Lawrence M. Neustadter, D.O., RDI President and Chairman of Radiology at SJH. With a pledge of $20,000 annually for the next five years, RDI has chosen to name the 1st floor main lobby of the Cancer Pavilion. The money from the donation will be used to fund quality cancer care in the region.
“We are pleased to accept this generous donation from the doctors of RDI,” said Carolyn Heckman, Executive Director of the SJH Foundation. “It is through this type of philanthropy that SJH facilities like the Frank & Edith Scarpa Regional Cancer Pavilion continue to thrive and deliver quality care to those who need it most.”
“It is a great privilege to be able to make this pledge to the Frank & Edith Scarpa Regional Cancer Pavilion,” said Dr. Neustadter. “South Jersey Healthcare is an excellent health care system serving South Jersey, and we are honored to help the cancer center deliver exceptional patient care as part of that system.”
