Auxiliary Raises $38,000 for South Jersey Healthcare Organization exceeds 2010 charitable giving totals
The South Jersey Healthcare Auxiliary raised $38,000 last year to help support South Jersey Healthcare, the region's leading network of health care providers. The Auxiliary hosts fundraisers throughout the year help SJH continue in its mission of providing high-quality health services to patients in southern New Jersey.
"We are thankful for this generous donation," said Chet Kaletkowski, President and CEO of South Jersey Healthcare. "SJH pursues the highest possible clinical and service standards of excellence, and the Auxiliary's fundraising efforts contribute to our mission."
Lynn Crescenzo, SJH Auxiliary Chair, said her organization relies on fundraisers - such as the annual Princess Party, the SJH Auxiliary Annual Calendar Raffle and the Auxiliary Yard Sale - to generate funds for hospital needs. "These events raise both money and awareness in support of South Jersey Healthcare," Crescenzo said. "The fundraisers allow the community members to be involved with their own health care."
The South Jersey Healthcare (SJH) Auxiliary operates as a division of the SJH Foundation. The purpose of the SJH Auxiliary is to support the activities and goals of the Foundation in promoting the health and welfare of the communities served by South Jersey Healthcare.
