SOUTH JERSEY HEALTHCARE FOUNDATION AWARDS LUXURY CAR TO RAFFLE WINNER

VINELAND, NJ, May 15, 2007 – The South Jersey Healthcare (SJH) Foundation and the SJH Auxiliary awarded a brand new Lincoln MKZ to Wendy Schofield of Buena, the winner of their first ever Luxury Car Raffle. Schofield is a Transfusion Service Supervisor at the Regional Medical Center and her husband, Brian, is an Intensive Care nurse at SJH-Elmer Hospital. Together, they chose a black MKZ from Quality Lincoln Mercury in Millville. Representatives from the SJH Foundation, SJH Auxiliary and Quality Lincoln Mercury presented the winner with the grand prize.

“We are excited to take part in handing over the keys of this brand new luxury car to two members of the South Jersey Healthcare family,” said Carolyn Heckman, Executive Director of the SJH Foundation. “This raffle was a big success in raising funds to advance the state of health care in our region.”

The drawing for the car took place at the SJH Foundation Annual Ball, which was held at the Centerton Country Club in Pittsgrove on May 5. All of the 999 available tickets were sold prior to the drawing.The proceeds of the fundraiser benefit the SJH Foundation and Auxiliary.
