The Deborah F. Sager Memorial Fund
"Let her light always shine through your gifts."
The Deborah F. Sager Memorial Fund (DFSMF) was established in 1978 as a memorial tribute to the vital, giving and loving child that was Deborah Felisse Sager. Debbie was just 12 years old when her life was taken from us by a careless driver. At that time of her passing, Debbie was an integral part of our efforts and desire to produce a profitable "A" rated national horse show for the then Newcomb Hospital in Vineland, New Jersey. Debbie passed just 3 days before the show and the net proceeds from the 1978 through 1982 shows were used to establish and fund the DFSMF.

By supporting the DFSMF with your generous gift, something of lasting value is achieved and the "special" love that was Debbie's continues to reach out and touch the lives of others. Through the years, the earnings of the DFSMF have been restricted for use to support enhanced healthcare for children.
So please keep the DFSMF in your memory box. Should you wish to honor someone or to make a donation in memory of someone, it is easy to do and it will help children for generations to come.
To make a donation, simply fill out the form below. Specify in whose memory or honor you are making the donation. Provide your mailing address and the address of the family to which you want the donation acknowledged. As part of the South Jersey Healthcare Foundation, the DFSMF will send an acknowledgment to the family stating that you have made a donation in memory or honor of their loved one. You will also receive a special thanks for your contribution from the Deborah F. Sager Memorial Fund.
If you prefer, you may also make a donation over the phone by calling the South Jersey Healthcare Foundation at 856-641-8290.

Today, the DFSMF is a restricted fund of the South Jersey Healthcare Foundation. In 1998, Newcomb Hospital became part of the South Jersey Healthcare (SJH) system. In 2004, SJH built a new state-of-the-art hospital, the SJH Regional Medical Center in Vineland. Earnings from the DFSMF continue to provide critical equipment and services for pediatrics, neo-natal and newborn care at South Jersey Health System. The Deborah F. Sager Memorial fund has grown to almost a half million dollars and has made a number of vital contributions to help ensure quality health care for children.
